Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Texas is a WONDERFULLY SWEET dog who was continually looked over a the shelter. Thanks to one of our fosters, we were able to pull him from the shelter and give him a chance at finding a LOVING home. This is what his foster said:
"Texas is the sweetest dog. He is such a snuggle bug and wants to be pet and held all the time. He knows come and sit, but other things we are still working on. He pulls REAL hard on a leash but he's learning! We have him learning with a lil lead around his snout that has helped him a lot. He loves being outside and would really benefit being with people who have a yard for him to play in. He has a TON of energy. He wants to chew on balls, but not chase them. He isn't being crate trained currently since we really don't have a ton of space for a big crate but I could see him really benefitting from a crate at night as he has a designated bed he knows is his space and he loves it. He has the deepest bark ever and if Texas does something bad and you tell him "no you can tell he knows and feels bad. He just wants to love everyone and make them happy. We are still working on not jumping on people because he is so big but he is doing SO much better. He knows when I come he has to sit before I will come in the backyard gate and love on him and he waits so patiently. Overall, Texas is a big, handsome, derpy boy with a heart of gold and so much love to give. If anyone has seen Emporers New Groove, it should be noted we almost named him Kronk. He deserves to be adopted into a family who will be patient with him while he learns more manners and love him and his cuddles. "
