My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh hello! My name is Fox!

I came to Animal Aid when my people were unable to provide me with as much time and attention as I needed. I really enjoy being with my people so this was hard for me. They also had a baby I wasnt a huge fan.

A few of my favorite things are sunbathing, lots of cozy beds to curl up in (I also love sitting on your lap!), squeaky & puzzle toys, leisurely strolls in the neighborhood when I get to sniff everything, and I cant forget about tasty treats! Beef liver is my favorite, yum!

Larger dogs make me nervous but with proper introductions, I do enjoy hanging out with small to medium sized dogs and Ive even lived peacefully with cats. I would prefer a home without any kiddos but would be happy in a home with another similar sized pet and a home where my people are home more often than not. Another great thing about me is Im pretty quiet! Ill bark to let you know someone is at the door but other than that, I dont have much to say.

I do have some separation anxiety and prefer to not be crated but dont worry, I am not destructive! Due to my anxieties, I also prefer that you go slow with me. I might take a little bit to warm up to you but once I do, Im sure to be your best friend.

I'm in a foster home so if you would like to be meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.
