Jeff and Jimbo are sweet, playful, big-hearted brothers looking for a forever home together. Always looking for cuddles, Jimbo (lighter orange) loves to be held by people he trusts and becomes quite the lap cat. He likes to roll around on your lap to find just the right spot for pets before settling in to watch TV. When he isn't cuddling, Jimbo loves zooming, wrestling and grooming with his brother Jeff. The darker orange of the pair, Jeff is very fond of chin and butt scratches and will offer his belly for petting with his favorite people. His signature move is the flop, in which he flops down against your shins when he wants some much deserved attention. Jeff and Jimbo were found as strays in Westchester County with their mom and sisters. The brothers adore each other and need to be adopted together. Jeff and Jimbo were born around August 2023.

Their adoption process
Additional adoption info
Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.

More about this rescue
Anjellicle Cats Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501c3 cat rescue committed to helping make New York a no-kill city. As one of the most active cat rescues in the 5 boroughs, ACR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless cats and kittens, many of which are sick, injured or dismissed as unadoptable. Through a coalition of volunteer advocates and caregivers, each rescued cat is welcomed with kindness and medical care into a foster home with the goal of adoption into a permanent, loving home. We believe that no animal should be ill-treated and strive toward a day when awareness, education and compassion have served to replace euthanasia as a solution to companion animal overpopulation.
