My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Background: Rambo is a gentle boy with a heart of gold. Due to a previous injury, he was found with a bump on his head, possibly from where he was hit with a catch pole when being taken to the shelter. His injuries are being addressed by our vet and he's settling well into his foster home. Rambo may have had a rough start, but he is ready to find a loving forever home where he will be cherished.

Personality: Rambo can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up to you, he is incredibly loving and affectionate. He enjoys spending time with people and loves nothing more than cuddling up for pets and belly rubs. Rambo is a loyal companion who is sure to bring joy to his new family.

Ideal Home: Rambo is looking for a patient and understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable. He would do best in a quiet home where he can receive plenty of love and attention.

Adoption Information: If you are interested in giving Rambo the loving forever home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application on our website at aceofheartsdogs.com. Rambo is ready to be your loyal and loving companion for life.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
