My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a miracle that these pups made it. A momma to be dog was suffering and trying to find a bite of food. Momma was so large she could hardly walk and her stomach dragged the ground. People would give her food but would not help her. Why, it may cost a nickel. Anyway I got her. We go to the vet where it was discovered she was in labor. Not only that her uterus had prolapsed she could not even birth them. The poor mother would just sit there and suffer until death took her. I took her to the vet where they did an emergency C-section. She had 14 puppies inside her little body. How she got through this I’ll never know. The puppies are very sweet and extremely healthy. They have had round o’clock care since they’ve been here with me. I dolt on them too much, but I just can’t help it. They are use to being handled and they are just love bugs. Just a FYI, I have Mom also. All will get good loving homes.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
