Approximate Age: 6 Months
Approximate Weight: 20 LBS
Currently Living at: foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Sunny! Sunny had a very rough start to life (her last picture shows how she looked when she was found). She was dumped in a very rural part of Georgia, along with her buddy Pup Tucker. She was starving, with no food, water, or way to survive. Luckly, they have been rescued. Sunny has put on weight and is ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Despite everything she has gone through, Sunny is a friendly and happy puppy. She loves people and other dogs. She is a true survivor and testament to how loving and forgiving dogs can be. At Sunny's young age, she in her prime for training and socialization. She will make a great addition to an active home. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
