My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal.

Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.

Kitty is an adorable, sweet, and cuddly puppy with a playful spirit that can melt anyone's heart. At 4 months old, she's just beginning to explore the world around her, and her Beagle mix heritage adds a touch of curiosity and intelligence to her personality.

Personality:
Kitty is a social butterfly who loves nothing more than being around people and other pets. She's always up for a cuddle session on the couch or a romp in the backyard. Her playful nature shines through as she bounds around with endless energy, ready to chase after toys or play a game of fetch.

Despite her youthful exuberance, Kitty has a gentle side too. She's incredibly affectionate, showering those around her with kisses and snuggles whenever she gets the chance. Whether it's curling up in your lap for a nap or giving you those puppy dog eyes, Kitty knows just how to melt your heart.

Training and Development:
As a young puppy, Kitty is still learning the ropes when it comes to obedience training and house manners. However, her eagerness to please and sharp intellect make her a quick learner. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, she's sure to master basic commands in no time.

Given her Beagle heritage, Kitty may have a tendency to follow her nose and investigate interesting scents. This natural curiosity can make training a fun and rewarding experience as you work together to channel her instincts in a positive direction.

Ideal Home:
Kitty would thrive in a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. A family with children or other pets would be ideal, as she loves having playmates to keep her company. A fenced yard where she can safely explore and burn off energy would also be a bonus.

Overall, Kitty is the perfect blend of sweetness, playfulness, and charm. With her irresistible puppy dog eyes and boundless energy, she's sure to bring joy and laughter to any household lucky enough to call her their own.

More about this rescue

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.
