Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louie
Chihuahua Mix
Male
1 year old
10 lbs.
Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Louie and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m just a sweet dog who gets along well with other pups and loves to cuddle. I love to run around the yard and play. I am about one year old and I still have a lot of puppy energy! I get along well with children and I love playing with an assortment of dog toys.
I can be a little bit shy when meeting new people, but we’ll be fast friends once we get to know each other! I have not yet met any cats, so I cannot say how I’d get along with them. I’m mostly potty-trained and I like to spend time on the couch when my foster family is away. I haven't used a crate much but I can get lonely on my own, so I’m looking for a house with lots of love and another dog to play with. If you’re looking for a loving lap dog, then look no further than me: Louie!
PawsCo loves to remind adopters that puppies are SO adorable but we are also a lot of work! And “puppyhood” can last for 1-2 years. We are similar to having a human toddler and we require a lot of patience, positive reinforcement training, and tons of love. My new family should sign me up for puppy socialization classes at a local training facility with positive reinforcement training and/or make a commitment to learning positive training techniques to help support me.
