Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You know that one friend who just yells when she gets uncomfortable? Well, that's Lee Loo! This expressive lady is sure to tell you how her day has been and let you know if you are doing something she does not approve of. When it comes to people, Lee Loo is a bit of an introvert. She is more interested in making long lasting, meaningful friendships then getting to know everyone she meets. Lee Loo was originally found as a stray in Lexington where she was living alone in the woods, scared of anyone who would come near her. She was rescued by her foster parent in December of 2023 and has been living with them since. They originally thought that Lee Loo would be a permanent part of the family, but unfortunately were not able to make things work. Lee Loo has been living with two other dogs, cats and kids and does great! Lee Loo is currently undergoing medical care for skin issues and needs to gain weight before she is ready for adoption. She is not able to stay in her current foster home permanently and would likely be overwhelmed by the sights and smells of the shelter, so she is looking for a new place to call her own! If you are interested with meeting Lee Loo, reach out to the Adoption Center at 828-264-7865, Tuesday- Saturday, 12:30-5pm to schedule a meet and greet!
