My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches is a beautiful brown and white female Boston Terrier. She spent the first six years of her life as a breeder living on a concrete slab in an Igloo doghouse. She is learning to live inside and enjoy her retirement. She will need an adult only, female only household that will let her learn to trust and love. She does not walk on a leash andneeds a fenced yard so she can enjoy the outside she loves. The crate is her safe space, but she is good to leave out in the house when you are gone and at night if you don't want her to sleep with you. She wants to be a part of the family but just hasn't quite figured it out. Another small dog friend in the house would help her confidence.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
