· Cats: prefers to be the only cat, lived with a 12 yr old spayed female and did not do well
· Dogs: unknown
· Kids: older, respectful children best, lived with a 4 yr old but didn't like rough handling
· Personality: Gizmo is an independent guy who is affectionate on his own terms. He's not afraid to demand playtime with his favorite toys like wands and laser pointers. In his spare time he can be found using scratching posts or sleeping in his cat tree.

Visit the shelter. We have an application that takes about 15 minutes to fill out once you have found a pet you like. You call back the next day which gives us time to review the application and gives you 24 hours to think about your decision to adopt. You can also complete our on-line application and get approved in advance of finding the perfect companion. Once approved, you are able to adopt an animal the same day.
