My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breanna is a super-sweet girl who was rescued from the streets.  She loves to sleep next to or on top of her foster mom!  Here is Breanna's story, in her own words:

"Hi, I'm Breanna!  My foster mom used to feed me when she saw I was on the street.  She took my kittens, and found them all homes, and finally convinced me to come inside, too.  I've been staying with my foster mom for the last year or so, and she said it's probably a good idea for me to find someone with more time for me, since she is always busy doing rescue.  I am happy here, looking out the windows, or sleeping on top of her or next to her on the pillow, and she says "Breanna, who knew you were such a love?!"  She also said anyone that adopts me will fall in love because I am such a sweet girl!  Who am I to deny it..???  I think I am, too!  At least, I try!!  I don't much like the other cats that sleep with mom, but I've learned to tolerate them, so long as they don't get in my personal space, because then, I might have to whack them!  But, mostly, I just keep to myself, and things are pretty calm here.  I might take a little time to feel comfortable with a new place, and a new mom or dad, but all I want is a quiet place and some love and attention, AND while I am at it, it has to be someone who wants me to sleep on top of them, because that is my favorite spot in the world! If you think I might be the kitty for you, please text my foster mom, Deborah, and tell her you think I'm pretty special, because that is HER criteria...that you think I'm as special as she does!  She is happy to tell you more about me, to see if it might be a good fit."

Breanna was born in approximately March 2021.  She has been spayed, and she will be up to date on her shots and microchipped prior to adoption.  For more information, please contact Deborah at 510-909-4961 (text preferred) or at angusnfriends@outlook.com.

More about this rescue

Angus & Friends is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. Angus was an approximately 15 y.o. orange tabby found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. We tried to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and find a furrever home.
