If you are looking for an adorable, cuddly, kind, gentle girl, keep reading.

Are you wishing for a dog that LOVES love, both giving and receiving?

Meet the very sweet and affectionate Peppermint Patty. She is apprehensive at first but when she decides you are her human, let the pittie love commence.

She is almost 2 years old and is 55 pounds, although she does need to loose a few lbs for her ideal summer body. She is good with cats, as she mainly ignores them. She would do best being the only dog in the home as she loves being the center of attention. She may do OK with a male dog with good manners as she played very well with other dogs while at our rescue in Texas. She does best with slow introductions with other dogs.

Peppermint is crate trained and house trained. She LOVES to be your shotgun copilot as she enjoys her car rides to her favor Sniffspots or daily errands. Abby sleeps very well on the bed, but will just as easily sleep in her crate with no complaint. She even takes her meals in her crate. We believe she would be fine crated while you are at work, currently she is with a stay-at-home parent. We have not experienced any separate anxiety just happy kisses and cuddles when you let her out..

For all the great things this perfect little girl can offer, she is reactive to other dogs and strangers in her home. Her current home is very quiet with little company, so practice with visitors would do her a world of good as she tries so hard to be that perfect girl for you. In neutral territory she seems to ignore other humans and we are working with a behaviorist to deal with her reactivity to strange dogs. We believe she will do well with continued kindness and training as she has come a long way in the past 8 months. Shelters/Rescues and transport can be a lot for a dog, so having someone with previous knowledge or willingness to keep up with her training would do best. Her foster had NO previous experience, and she has been super easy to train (food motivated) and would be the perfect only dog for a new owner willing to keep up her current training

This beautiful golden eyed girl had her DNA and Health Embark testing showing she is American Pitbull, American Staffy, a touch of Lab, mix in a few more breeds and you got a one of a kind pup. She is very low key with bursts of play, but she would rather watch you from the couch or by your side. She is very gentle with play, kisses and taking objects from your hand, I honestly think you could train her to carry an egg in her mouth.

Her fosters are happy to answer ANY question you have and we all want it to be her time to find that perfect home!

Lets add awesome front seat car rider, walks easy on a leash, not mouthy or jumpy .

Brought by USDA licensed semi-truck transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! Our dogs travel in style in our big green truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 3 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care.

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary!

Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
