My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I'm Myra! I'm told my name means beloved, now that I'm free, I believe that's true! Up until recently, I didn't have a name. I was seen only as a number, as a thing, to be used for cruel testing. I lived my whole life in a cage, cold and scared. I was just rescued by BFP and am experiencing everything life has to offer, including sunshine! I am still coming out of my shell, but my new friends are giving me treats, cuddles, and plenty of walks. I am still learning, so I will need patience and preferably another dog to help teach me. I'm so excited to find a family that wants to welcome me into their home!

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org.
