Hello, I'm Shakira, a sweet soul with a brave heart. My story is unique, like me. I once lived in a magical forest, where I was the protector of the woodland creatures. One day, a wizard saw my bravery and gifted me a wheelchair, empowering me to continue my duties despite my physical challenges. But, the forest was no place for a wheelchair, so I found myself here, in this rescue. I am independent, gentle, and mellow, always spreading joy around me. If you seek a companion who embodies courage and love, I'm the one for you.

To adopt a No Stray Left Behind dog, first there is an adoption contract, we will contact you within 3 days to confirm if the application was accepted or not. Next, we have a socialization visit between the dog, you and, and you dogs (if applicable). If everyone gets along, there is a home visit, and an adoption fee, then you have a new family member!

No Stray Left Behind is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit small dog rescue organization. Our goal is to save as many abandoned, abused and neglected dogs as possible and provide them loving environments until they find a home that will love and cherish them for the rest of their lives.

One of our main goals is to reduce the amount of strays on the streets by informing dog owners of the benefits of spaying and neutering their pets, and the risks of not.
