My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Louie - Your Loyal Sidekick Awaits!

Louie is a charming Boxer mix puppy who is looking for his forever home! Rescued from a high-kill shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized, along with his brother Larry, Louie is now safe and sound in a foster home, eagerly waiting to find his perfect match.

As a stray, not much is known about Louie's background, but one thing is certain - he's full of love and ready to become your loyal sidekick. Australian Cattle Dogs are known for their intelligence and loyalty, and Louie is no exception. He's a quick learner who is eager to please and ready to embark on all of life's adventures by your side.

Louie's journey to safety was nothing short of miraculous, and now he's hoping to find a family who will give him the love and care he deserves. If you're looking for a devoted companion to join you on walks, hikes, and lazy afternoons in the sun, Louie might just be the perfect match for you.

If you're interested in meeting Louie and potentially giving him the forever home he's been dreaming of, please submit an adoption application on our website. Louie can't wait to meet you and become your new best friend!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
