My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application.
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application

The Take-Out litter, born 12/13/23, has a Labrador/Pitbull mix for a mom, and a neighbor's English Bulldog mix for a dad. Mom has been spayed and returned to her home, and it's time for these cuties to find their new families.

These mixed breed LeMuttes will likely end up somewhere between 50-70 pound when full grown. They are all social and fun pups who will make terrific family members.

They are being treated for mild demodex with Nexgard, which will also give them protection from fleas/ticks for a month after the last treatment.

Four of the pups have already joined their new families where they are all excelling at cuteness, loveableness, and adorability. We have three girls still looking for love:

SUSHI - female, black with white paws and chin, super sweet personality, well-rounded

MISO - female, black with white hind toes, blaze on chest, a snuggler, a little bit laid back (as far as a puppy can be laid back, HA)

MOCHI - female, black with white triangle on chest, a champion fetcher already, wants to be the center of attention and is always on the go

You can see in their video that they all have that happy, well-adjusted, well-socialized, perky puppy strut going on. These gals are hard to resist, even for those of us whose doggo quota is already overfull at home.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Sushi is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
