Meet happy, playful and goofy Marshmallow! This 46 lb. bulldog boy is super affectionate, loves to meet people, play with toys and go on adventures. Marshmallow has been down a rough road but has kept up an amazing, silly personality. Marshmallow's owner was unable to care for him, and he arrived at WARL with a significant skin infection that was painful and required lots of veterinary care, sutures, and daily treatments. It was a great day for staff and volunteers when his fur started growing back and he was clearly recovering. Words can't really describe how exceptional his resilient and kind heart shines through.
Marshmallow was a gem throughout his skin care routine, and actually looked forward to being cleaned daily with medical wipes, because he knew there were some nice treats waiting for him after each step. Marshmallow is admittedly working on a humping issue, so he may be able to live with another dog, but they would have to meet first as he comes on a bit strong! Same with kids, he needs just the right energy mix.
An important thing to know about this pup is that he will require several veterinary visits per year to keep current on his prescribed allergy medication. English Bulldogs have complex medical needs, and his new home has to be able to ensure that he will be able to get the continued care that he needs. That is super important for him to continue, and his new home must be able to support him with this care. Marshmallow will pay it back with lots of affection, and plenty of happy snorting bulldog noises!
