Rocket is a beautiful boy born 11/15/23. He came on as 1 of 7 pups! Just him and a brother are still available!! He is a cuddle bug and is the sweetest! He is great w/ dogs, kids, and cats. Adoption fee is $150. Full out an application online at https://browncountyhumanesociety-kansas.org/adoption

1.
Submit Application

Once an application is submitted, we process as soon as we can (usually within 1 business day). Then we contact the adopter!

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once an application is approved, we set up a meet and greet with the adopter and shelter pet.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If adopter falls in love, we have a contract to sign, and the adopter and shelter pet can go home!

We do adopt anywhere in the United States and can look into transport if needed.

Go meet their pets

We are open 6 days a week to the public (Monday-Saturday) and once a month (4th Saturday of the month) we take a dog(s) to Petsmart in St Joseph, MO for people to meet!

More about this rescue

We are a small rural humane society run by passionate individuals who LOVE helping homeless animals! We take in homeless dogs/cats and try our best to take owner surrenders when we can! We also have a community outreach program that we help families with spaying/neutering their pets, dogfood, and microchipping! We hope you will adopt a pet from us!
