Indy is as sweet as they come! She is quiet, well mannered and very tuned into people. She walks nicely on a leash and is very respectful and gentle with young children. She is fully house trained, comes when she is called and travels in the car happily. She is used to being kenneled during the day and naps happily in the kennel while we’re at work or busy with kids.
I was a dog trainer, and Indy has been a joy to work with! I got her from my brother who breeds blue heelers. He is a very careful breeder. His heelers are not nippy, Indy is no exception, she is not nippy.
Indy is not assertive with our other dogs and she gets pushed around a lot by the dogs and the loud noises my kids make are not her favorite. She goes and hides in her kennel when there is too much commotion. I worry that our home is too busy and noisy for her to be comfortable. If your looking for an amazing hiking, kayaking, snuggling buddy, this is the girl for you!!
