Queenie and Hutch were rescued from a muddy construction site in December of 2023.
Queenie was desperately thin, and Hutch was her only surviving kitten.

Queenie is an old soul in a young cats body. At only 2 years old, her beautiful green eyes can tell you just how hard life was for her until her rescue date. Since being brought into Foster care Queenie has very slowly learned to trust and start to come out of her shell. Queenie is very food motivated , and is starting to accept pets and brushing in exchange for a lickable treat, chicken, or some wet food. Queenie is particularly fond of soft and cozy places to nap, and is quite playful with toys. She is quick to hiss when she feels nervous ( in fact she will often greet you with a hiss when you enter the room), but is a very timid girl who is not aggressive. Queenie would blossom in a home with a confident cat sibling who could help her come out of her shell.
