REX – 2 ½ year male. Rex our magnificent tri-pod does not seem to care he only has three legs. He always has a smile on his face. He loves to go for walks and when he is out, he can easily handle a mile. Give Rex a ball, he loves balls, and he is ready to play. Rex is an all-around good rottie boy. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys going to new places. He has quickly become a staff favorite at our vet and enjoys spending his days lounging in the office. Rex would do best with a female dog his size, but no small dogs or cats. He would love a family that doesn’t look at him as a dog with a handicap. Instead he would like a family to see him as a wonderful companion who just wants a home of his own and people who will love him. If there are children in his new family, we recommend they are over the age of 10.
If you are interested in including REX in your home, please go to our website http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=150 for the rescue location (Recycled Rotts is located in the far west suburbs of Chicago IL), placement policies/fee, placement area and the link to our online application. NOTE: We make calls to prospective adopters from our personal phones and always leave a message. If you do not answer numbers you don’t recognize, please check your messages

Recycled Rotts was founded in the late 1980's and became a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization in 1997. The rescue dedicates itself to the placement (into responsible homes) and education of the breed known as Rottweiler. Our Rottweilers come from humane societies, animal controls and owner give-ups from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Donations are always welcome and all donations go towards the care of our rotties. Donations made through our paypal account may be made through our website Donation page: http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=54
