My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is the story of two little girls with polar opposite life stories and personalities, who met at a foster home and became friends.

Dear little Summer is a most unusual orange and grey brown tabby with the most beautiful stripes and spots. She was found on the streets of south Brooklyn as a toddler kitten who miraculously survived a brutal winter by herself. From day one, she was shy, timid and exudes total peace. She's always the one at back of the crowd, just politely waiting to be noticed to get her turn at snacks. While in foster, she is now comfortable to come and receive snacks from your hand, and she's always ever so gentle about it. She loves being around people, and will follow her foster parents around the house, observing everything quietly, and sleeping at the end of the bed.She still needs continued socialization to trust people enough to pet her. She prefers to be in a quiet home with patient and experienced adopter(s) who will continue to help her in her journey to trusting humans. When she gets there, you will find yourself the sweetest, faithful kitty who will never leave your side.

Now her friend Sparkle the calico baby, is also very very sweet but she's super social and the least bit timid. As a true reflection of her name, she's the first in the crowd, just spunky and curious, and totally aces any social situations. She loves to be right next to you and help out with whatever you're doing. If you're reading a book, she'll snuggle up and read it with you. If you’re writing an email, she likes to supervise what you’re writing. And she loves to be carried around and cuddles and sleeps under your comforter with you.

Sparkle and Summer LOVE to play. Eventhough Sparkie is the bolder one, who usually jumps higher and runs faster than Summer to get a toy, she knows her boundaries and will respect Summer and give her a turn, which is endearing to watch.

These two girls are just genuinely quirky and their personality differences will bring much warmth and fun into your life.

Both girls are spayed, tested negative for felv/fiv and up to date on vaccines.
