My name is Brooklyn (Brookie)!

Meet Brookie, a 14-year-old cat with a heart of gold. She and her sister were given up for adoption by a family who just wanted kittens, but Brooklyn's fear and anxiety made it hard for her to find a new home. After three long weeks in the shelter, she finally found her way to us, thanks to an adoption sponsorship. Despite our worries that she would be overwhelmed by our other pets, she settled in beautifully and now loves to cuddle with everyone. She's healthy, happy, and full of love, even if she looks grumpy at times. She sets boundaries with other pets and gets along fine after a while.

Brooklyn is a foodie at heart. She has a passion for all things delicious and is always eager to try new flavors. We suspect her previous owners fed her table food, but she’s just as happy to have wet food a few times a week. Mealtime is her favorite time of day, and she never fails to clean her plate.
