Meet Cherry!

Just as sweet as her name, Cherry is an adult girly who is very calm and easy going. She has done so well so far in all of the introductions she has had with other pups in the shelter! She is very playful with other dogs when given the opportunity, and can be a little rowdy so she'd need to have dog friends that can handle her rambunctious play style. Cherry has excellent leash manners and has so far done well with introductions to other dogs on walks.
We estimate her to be around 2 years old.

We encourage you to meet the furry friend you are interested in before filling out an application.

Meet the Pet

Submit Application

Once you find the furry friend you want to adopt, a quick adoption application will need to be filled out.

4.
Approve Application

After the application is submitted, we will review it and contact you if your application is chosen.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once your application is approved, we will contact you to finalize the adoption process!

All that is needed for the adoption application is a
**valid driver license**

We are located at 1600 Johnson Road in Petersburg, Virginia.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am till 3pm.
We are closed Saturdays and Sundays (as well as holidays).
However, if needed before or after hours, please give us a call!
