My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m Snowball! I`m 109lb & morbidly obese. My owner`s fulltime caregiver passed away so he was left caring for me, a small dog & many cats. With new caregivers coming multiple times a day, he made the decision to surrender me (since I was getting grouchy with them) along with one cat. Here at the shelter, I`m still searching for my owner in everyone I see, but each day gets a little easier. I need to lose at least 25lbs so I can lead a normal life, as right now I am a living pillow, not walking much, not interacting much. I would prefer a home without children since I have never been around them and I do best in a quiet home with someone who is experienced with dogs like me. While I lived in a home with cats, we were kept separate so it is unknown how I do with them, but I did enjoy being around my chihuahua friend. I am housetrained and quiet. If you are looking for a project dog that promises to reward you with loyalty and companionship until the end of my days, you`ll find no better candidate!
