My name is Francis!

Allow me to introduce myself--I'm Francis, a grey tabby female estimated to be about 1 1/2 years old. I found myself at Animal Ark when I turned up in a neighborhood, no identification, no microchip, and no owner claiming me. Upon examination, it was found that I had already been spayed, so at some point I had a home and an owner. This is the danger of being outdoors--I lost my way and couldn't be reunited with my former family. Now that I've been updated on my vaccinations, seen by a vet, and cared for by the staff at the shelter, it's time to start my search for a home that will keep me safe and indoors. My history with other animals and children is unknown, but any introductions must be slow and gradual, with patience for what I may have experienced in the Great Outdoors.
