Hi! I'm Lyla, a sweet and happy Pharaoh Hound mix. I'm 6-years-old and I've traveled a long way to get to Animal Ark, coming from a rescue in Oman! It was a long plane ride, followed by a long car ride from Chicago. And through it all, I was extremely well behaved and no bother at all. That says a lot about my temperament! I was adopted from Animal Ark when I was 1-year-old, but unfortunately, my family is no longer able to take care of me so I am back at Animal Ark to find a new place to call home. I absolutely love people of all sorts but would do best in a home with children 8 years of age and older. I do great with cats and I'm good with dogs when given a slow introduction. Submit an adoption application for me today so we can get a play date on the books!

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
