Meet BlackBerry! Who is just as sweet as her name! Blackberry is an adorable lab mix weighing in at around 35lbs; she is the perfect size companion! She is a social girl who loves everyone she meets! She is dog friendly, loves all the volunteers and staff members, and is great with kids! She has been to many adoption events and outings and has done great! She would be the perfect girl to take with you on road trips, hiking, on a boat, Or even just for a night on the town. Blackberry has great energy and loves to play, but then will just chill out and take a nap with you. As long as you are by her side, that's all she cares about! Blackberry is also heartworm positive but, she is currently undergoing treatment, which has been sponsored and is paid for. She is healthy enough for adoption and the only obligation that her adopter has is to make sure she gets to her future vet appointments that are required for her treatment (these appointments will be made by us at one of our veterinarians offices at no cost to the adopter) Once her treatment is complete she can continue to live a normal, happy, healthy life, just like any other dog! Heart worm is not contagious to other animals or humans.
Blackberry is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea and heart worm prevention. If you are interested in meeting this pretty girl, please fill out an application today!
