My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nathan, the Sweet Senior Shar Pei/Beagle Mix!

Nathan is a gentle soul who has found himself in need of a loving forever home. Although he is a senior, don't let his age fool you—he has plenty of energy and loves to play! Nathan was wrongfully abandoned at the shelter by his previous family, but he hasn't let that dampen his spirits.

Nathan is a Shar Pei/Beagle mix, which gives him a unique and adorable appearance. He is in good health with no known health problems, making him an easy-going companion for anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family.

One of Nathan's best qualities is his friendly nature. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. He is always eager to make new friends and is sure to bring a smile to your face with his playful antics.

Despite his age, Nathan has good energy and enjoys going for walks and exploring his surroundings. He would do well in a home where he can continue to stay active and receive plenty of love and attention.

If you're looking for a loving and playful companion, Nathan would be the perfect match for you!

Please fill out an application on our website, acesangels.org, if you're interested in giving Nathan the forever home he deserves.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
