If you have no vision for the future, then scroll on by! Peter is a one year old Shih Poo who came to us as one of the worst grooms I’ve ever had to do. He deserves only the best home. This dog should get all the empathy and compassion in the world. His entire life up to this point has been a total let down from humans…and yet even when his body was a literal three inch thick mat from his neck to his tail, he was the wiggliest, most playful and sweet dog there ever was! He’s got some bald spots and some scratches from his cut but he just sat there for the entire SIX hours it took to do. He was so patient and just wagged his tail as best he could. He seemed to think that even though it was a rough ride, he was going to feel better in the end! And now he looks like a real dog! He acts like one too, he is such a love. You won’t find a sweeter more affectionate dog. He’s not the prettiest at the moment but hair grows back. He loves other dogs and children. He does fine with cats.
Peter is UTD on vaccinations and scheduled to be neutered. He is microchipped. He’s on a preventative for fleas, ticks and heartworm. You can apply anytime on our website www.lonelypawsadoptions.org!
