Willow is looking for a new forever home!! She was a family member's dog who no longer could afford her, so I took her in. She weighs 45 lbs. and is a shepherd mix that is up to date on shots, outside of Bordetella.
Walks and the dog park are new to her, but she loves it! She does pull a lot when on walks, so it is best to use a harness and be able to work on her walking skills. She also is not good in the car. Vehicles are new to her, and she is all over the place while I drive. I would suggest a seatbelt harness or potentially even a kennel. Time is key! Once she is with you for a while, she has amazing recall, and comes running!
I've noticed some guarding of toys when my guy walks past her, so I would suggest an owner who can help correct the behavior or a single dog home, to let her be her authentic self. My dog and her also tussled over food so now I separate them by a room when feeding.
She is very loving and cuddly, and I want to find her the best home possible.
