My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Teddy needs:
-A home with no cats

Hi! I’m Teddy, a 10-year-old, 12-pound, neutered, male, long-haired dachshund mix. Sadly my owner went into a senior care facility so I was surrendered along with two of my dog buddies. I’m the most loving boy you will ever meet and expect to be wherever my human is. I do have a condition called collapsing trachea, which makes me cough mostly after I drink water. I am on occasional medication for this. Oh I also only have one tooth but I eat dry food just fine. I like other dogs but would be fine with or without other dogs but I do not like cats! I think they are fun to chase and most kitties would not be ok with this. I walk on a leash with a harness due to my trachea so I do not need to be pulling on a collar. I wear my collar for my ID tags only. I ride in the car ok but do get a little anxious, not car sick just a bit whiney. If you are looking for a beautiful redhead to be your best friend in the world then I’m the dog for you! My adoption fee is $100.
