Caliber is currently in a foster home With 3 other small dogs that’s he does well with. He’s potty trained and uses the dog door, sleeps in his dog bed at night, and was great with a 5 year old child.

Caliber is heartworm positive but please don't let that rule him out for you, he is currently on the slow approach to treatment which means he takes additional medication to his heartworm prevention every six months only (this can be provided by the rescue)

Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at :   Apply Now (almosthomepetrescue.org)

More about this rescue

Almost Home Pet Rescue is a private rescue headquartered near Katy (in the southwestern suburbs of Houston). We work closely with other rescues as well as the Animal Control Departments of various municipalities in the Houston area to place dogs in loving, permanent homes. Our pets live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets. Our adoption fee ($200 inc. tax) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm test for dogs over 8 months of age.
