BIO:
Tell me you love me! Teller here, ready to be your movie star best furry friend (my FTF friends named me after Miles Teller because I am a handsome fellow!) and keep you entertained with my delightful, happy-go-lucky personality. My favorite activities include going for long walks (I would love to be your exercise buddy and could even be a good running mate with some more training! My foster momma says I am great on a leash!), playing with other dogs, and chewing on dog bones and toys. I am an energetic dude and would thrive with an active family; I think I would do best with older children and would love a playful canine companion to romp around with in our backyard. But once I am tired out, I know how to relax and keep myself entertained with my toys or some snuggles. I am very smart, too, and my adopters will need to sign me up for training classes so I can continue to exercise my mind and learn new skills. I'm already potty trained, know a few commands including sit, leave it and off, and am excited to see what else I can master with you by my side. I prefer to be near my people and dislike being crated but am not destructive in the home and can be left out if you need to run errands for a while (though, maybe hide the garbage cans because they are tempting!) I came to FTF from Texas and was heartworm positive, but I have had my treatment and will need to be kept calm for a few weeks while I recover. Puzzle toys and lots of cuddles keep me occupied while I rest, but I cannot wait to be the active, athletic boy I love to be! Hurry up and fill out an adoption application today - I am ready for a lifetime of fun and activities with you!

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
