My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Rugby Litter! 7 boys in the litter - all adorable fluff balls. These boys will be large dogs. Momma is only about 30-35 lbs but we presume dad was a great pyrenees because all but Blax are golden / white, fluffy, and they are all large (Jonah is the smallest). Would guess when full grown most of these boys will be well over 50lbs. They are all super social, love to play with other dogs, have never met cats but surely would be fine with proper training. They all seem to have more of a Pyr / laid back but still fun and playful attitude. They are all cuddly and sweet. Strike is the most shy but comes out of his shell quickly. They are potty box trained and learning house training. They typically go all night in crates without accidents. These boys are all going to be fun and wonderful family dogs! They have their final puppy shots, rabies, bordatella, chip, and neuter the week of 3/25 and will be ready to go to their FURever homes as soon as they recover.

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
