At just under 1.5 yrs old & 12 lbs, Ginni is an extremely shy and timid Chi mix. Once she lets you in & deems you safe, she is a true velcro pup - she just needs a minute to warm up. Children make her nervous, but she gets along well with other dogs, and would probably do best in a home with another dog to give her the confidence and guidance she needs.
She needs a patient home that will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. After that, I promise that she is all hugs & kisses, and you will have a hard time getting her out of your lap....🥰🥰

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
