My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello!  Allow me to introduce myself, Hunter Lee hereI don’t like to brag but I am 3 ½ yrs old and 38 lbs of solid handsome liver/white Brittany.  My name might mean I am a hunter, but I know for sure that I can spot those sneaky birds and squirrels and keep them in line.  Because of them I need a 6 foot privacy fence.   I am a healthy boy who is neutered, housebroken, and am utd on vaccines, plus I am HW and tick negative and on prevention.

I know my forever home is out there waiting for me and that I will be loved, cuddled, and spoiled rotten! I get along with dogs, kids, and love everyone. I want to be super close to my human(s), ‘cause I need to make sure you know how much I love you!

The adoption fee for OK/Hunter Lee, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Hunter Lee part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Hunter Lee.

Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

More about this rescue

National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a network of caring and dedicated volunteers who have a deep passion for dog rescue and specifically the homeless Brittany, affectionately called a "Britt."

Once called "the Brittany Spaniel," the AKC has officially changed their breed name to "the American Brittany." A Brittany retains a puppy-like quality in their personality and are gentle, clownish, active dogs. They are great family dogs.

The number of dogs available for adoption varies from month to month. .
