Meet Bear. Bear’s mother was found living in an abandoned house. She was very thin but pregnant. The man who lived there, had gone to jail and just left them there to perish. We took the mother home, and she just delighted in all the things happening around her. She had plenty of food, water, a soft bed to lay on, and no more extreme cold or heat to have to endure. She’s very sweet and so are her puppies. She had eight. Bear is a happy little fellow very playful will be an outgoing dog in personality. he’s very young so he can easily adapt to children or any lifestyle in which he enters. They are vetted and ready for a forever home!!!. If you would like to see Bear or get information on him, please contact us.
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
