My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romy and her best friend, Michelle, didn't come into the shelter together but they instantly clicked and helped them get through their time in the shelter. Both girls still love each other but they love everyone too! Michelle is ALWAYS the life of the party! She is always ready to play with any dog she meets. Her ears give the best form of entertainment! She is also a water dog and loves to go for a swim! Michelle is truly an incredible dog with all the best qualities you could ask for.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
