My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Fuzzy & her sister Lyric were part of a group of kitties recently abandoned near a feral feed site and rescued by the site's caretaker after a harrowing encounter which almost saw one kitten hit by a car, and another kitty climbing up into a car engine!

Thank goodness these sweet girls were rescued, as they aren't at all feral but as friendly as can be, following their new foster mom around the house begging for attention. Lyric got her name due to her cute meow which she uses to her advantage, demanding love and petting. And Fuzzy...well her name speaks for itself...just look at that tail! Both girls are now spayed and ready for their new forever homes.

If you'd like to meet Fuzzy, Lyric, or any of our available cats & kittens, submit an application today.

All our cats and kittens receive their vaccinations, a microchip registered to the new owner, collar & tag, starter bag of food, and their sterilization. In addition, we test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  All of our animals are 8 weeks or older when they are shown for adoptions, all of our felines must be spayed /neutered before we place them in new homes and they must be 8 weeks old and 2 pounds to have their surgeries.

If you have any questions, please email adoptions@catscradlerescue.org.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens in Ventura County. We help abandoned and unwanted animals find wonderful, new, forever homes by taking them in, getting them any needed medical care, loving them and raising them to be loving pets, then adopting them out at one of our three adoption sites. We will take in nursing or pregnant cats, newborn motherless kittens, older kittens and in some cases homeless adults cats.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out at adoptions as well as foster animals. There are always more animals in need of care than foster homes. Cats Cradle will supply food and litter, you supply the love! Please call or email if you are interested in helping out.
