My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ripley is a super sweet girl that gets along with other dogs inside and outside. She is a one of a kind dog where she had a rough start, ended up at a kill shelter on the euth list with missing fur and skin and bones and now look at her glow. Through all that she is super friendly and loves everyone

She loves to go for runs, hikes and more. She is a young girl at only 1 years old and on the smaller side at 40 pounds.

**Walks well on leash
**Crate and house trained
**Loves other dogs and coexists with cats just fine
**loves to play fetch and go for hikes
**carries her toys around and is great wearing cute fish costumes ;)

Cats: She’s doing really well! She’s so intrigued by them she just sits by the stairs and watches them through the baby gate. They’ve even booped noses and no aggressive reaction. The cat hisses at her and Ripley actually turned around and walked away. However, she does have strong prey drive so I imagine if they run she’s going to chase them. Future home (if they have cats) should definitely make sure their cat can jump higher onto something with Ripley in the house.

Comes with 2 free dog training sessions and full vetting

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
