Starry is a sweet and mellow girl! She loves her humans and gets along with other dogs. Starry has a rough start in life, however, it doesn’t stop her from loving and trusting humans. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Starry walks well on leash and loves to go on hikes. At home, she is laid back and do best in a quiet home setting. Starry started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Starry is patiently waiting.

Starry’s Rescue Story

Starry’s owner unfortunately passed away and none of the families are willing to let her stay. Her owner’s family took her to a shelter and a kind volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help save her. She was extremely scared and confused. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see her so hurt. She agreed to take her home and give her a chance in life.

Starry had a thorough medical checkup. She had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Starry a loving home where she will never be left behind again.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Doggie is a rescue organization. We are a group of dedicated, animal-loving individuals and we believe every dog should have a home and the chance to be loved. We rescue homeless, abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs that are living in horrible conditions and often forgotten about.
