Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application and when contacted by a rescue rep, they will ask for a video walk-thru of your home. If you are chosen to adopt, an adoption agreement will be sent.

The adoption fee includes up to date on vaccines (except Bordetella), vet evaluation, de-worming, microchip, spay/neuter if the pet is old enough. If the pet is too young, adopters must fill out a spay/neuter agreement and provide a $100.00 refundable deposit. If we do not get proof of spay/neuter by the time the dog is six months old, our contract states that we may reclaim the dog.

More about this rescue

Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue started as an independent rescue. Lisa Clark our founder started networking dogs in high kill shelters through Facebook, in 2012. She knew that rescue was the path her life was going to take. Little Dobby was the first dog that was rescued from a shelter under what we know today as Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue -and that's when the Lisa decided to officially start a rescue. Without much money in the bank, she filed for and was approved as a federal 501(c)3 non-profit charity.

IPFP is an all foster rescue. Without foster homes and donations, lives cannot be saved. Currently IPFP has 20+ fosters in WA and Or and they are always looking for loving homes to join the family.
