My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kora is ready to find her forever home! This sweet and gentle girl was the mom of our K Litter and now that her mothering duties are over, she’s ready to find her family!

Kora is relaxed and well-behaved in the home and is the perfect balance of sweet and playful. A belly rub aficionado, Kora will flop into your lap and roll over to ensure you know exactly what she’s asking for! This girl loves cuddling and affection of any kind, and will rest her head on your lap when she’s feeling like it’s time for you to appreciate the good girl she is. Her foster mom affectionately describes her as a dream!

Kora’s hobbies include staring out the window for long periods, getting belly rubs, and treasure hunting for kibble in her snuffle mat. Bring out the toys and she’ll happily play tug or catch with you, and then she’s ready to curl up for a well deserved nap.

Kora eagerly awaits her daily walks and easily clocks in 2-3 miles per day. She’s an awesome walking companion and does really well on a loose leash, making outings a joy. Kora is keen on adventures and exploring new places, and is great in the car for short rides.

Kora has done well meeting other dogs and going on walks with potential canine pals. While she hasn’t lived with another dog in her time with us, we think she would do well with a laid back dog sibling with proper introductions.

We estimate that Kora is about 2 years old and she weighs 62 pounds. One of her puppies had a DNA test done and there were 17 breeds detected, including pittie, husky, shepherd, chow, and boxer. While we can't pinpoint the exact mix of breeds Kora possesses, one thing is certain: she's the epitome of a perfect blend!

If you seek a loving, well-behaved, and laid-back addition to your family, Kora might just be the perfect match for you!

Kora’s adoption fee is $450 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
