My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Sophie! I am a wonderfully sweet lady who was brought to the shelter when my owner no longer had housing and the ability to care for me. I love to meet people and consider strangers to be friends that I just haven't met yet! If we really get along, sometimes I'll even treat you to a serenade in the language of my people. Because of my vocal prowess, I will require a house setting, so as not to disturb any neighbors through shared walls. I like to spend time outdoors and cavort around in the pen with staff, but am also quite content to hang out inside and snuggle with my people. I could potentially live with a goofy large male dog but am very picky about the dogs I like. I do have a prey drive and cannot live with cats or small dogs. I am house trained and keep my kennel nice and clean, which staff have told me is "good girl behavior" in addition to my never ending sweetness!

If you think I could be the perfect new family member for you, please call the kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to learn more about me and how to meet me and hopefully take me home!
