My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet handsome Cody! He arrived at the shelter on 3/17 as a lost boy, and no one has come to reclaim him. Cody is now ready to find his new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. Cody is a very friendly boy who enjoys gentle pets and words of encouragement. Cody isn't so sure about being walked on a harness lead, but he's starting to get the hang of it. Cody has a beautiful, soft coat; he seems to have been taken care of well. Cody also seems to be house-trained because he's a super holder and will do his business as soon as he's out the door. What a good boy! If you're looking for a new BFF who enjoys long leisurely strolls, please come meet Cody!

Cody is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 68 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Cody is waiting in run 883; his ID # is 655334.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!
