Meet FALCON - Paws Behind Bars Trained
FALCON is a 1-year-old, male 76% Doberman (mix) who weighs 85lbs.
He adopted from our program as a cute puppy and then he grew, and he grew, and he grew. Dobermans are an intelligent, athletic breed and in the 8 months he was with his family, he became more "dog" than they expected.

He is now back with us and enjoying the company of an inmate in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Here, he will receive the one-on-one attention he needs. Obedience training is one aspect of what the program provides, as well as the opportunity for an "immature" dog to nurture his social skills. The proper amount of exercise will also be part of his curriculum.

Falcon is a lovely dog with an affectionate demeanor, and we are sure he'll make a wonderful family companion upon graduation from the prison program. It's fun to watch the progress!

Falcon requires a PHYSICALLY FENCED yard. He will need a low traffic home without children.

IMPORTANT: Please Keep in mind Falcon is 1yr old with a life expectancy of 12 + years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for our rescues and the families, including a home that can stay committed to the animal for life.
