My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rupaw is a sweet, low energy cat who loves love! Seriously, he will be your best friend. He is the type of lapcat to snuggle up with you and immediately start purring if you offer a pet. If you want a nap buddy he is definitely your guy. At the same time, he is very independent and is happy to do his own thing and bask in the sun. He gets along great with other cats and is not aggressive at all. He gets sniffly sometimes but then he makes cute little snorts! Ru is truly a special soul and you won’t regret making him a part of your family.
Rupaw is FIV+. Cats with FIV live a long life and can live be with other cats. It just means he has a weaker immune system. Lysine is a good supplement to help strengthen it.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
