More about this rescue

I founded OWC in 2008 to offer aid to outdoor pets in Ohio's brutal winters. Free straw delivery "snowballed" into providing a "No-Kill" shelter facility. We may house up to 27-30 dogs at a time as well as 2 rescue horses at a time. We take strays, owner surrenders and abused/neglected dogs. We re-home approximately 100 dogs per year. We also offer a year round low-cost cat and dog spay program. We have sterilized over 1,000 dogs and cats combined in the last 5 years. One of our board members is a fowl specialist and she feeds and cares for our local park's ducks and geese, which often take ill,.

I do this because dogs/all animals deserve to be treated with the untmost respect and love. I have been saving animals since the age of 4 and I am now 44 years old. I wouldnt be doing anything else.
